Christopher Carmona-Woodard
Mr. Christopher Carmona-Woodard - Head of Schools
Mr. Christopher Camona-Woodard is a dedicated educator and leader with a rich background in academics, coaching, and community service. A proud graduate of Hitchcock High School, Christopher was a six-time Hitchcock ISD NCA All-American, and collegiate cheerleader for San Jacinto Community College and Texas Southern University showcasing his commitment to excellence and discipline from a young age.
He is a former owner and head coach of Army Cheer and Dance Academy in Harlingen, TX, as well as Royal Cheer and Dance of San Benito, TX, where he cultivated young talent and promoted team spirit. Currently, he serves as a certified Life Skills teacher in Brazosport ISD and owns CarWood Learning Centers LLC, further demonstrating his passion for education and youth development.
Christopher has also contributed to the community as Director of the Admissions Department at Southern Careers Institute in Harlingen, TX, and as a foster parent under Upbring Texas from 2016 to 2022, reflecting his compassionate nature and commitment to uplift others.
Academically, he holds an associate’s degree in Business Fundamentals from the University of Phoenix, a bachelor's degree in Business Management, and a master's degree in Education with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University in Utah. He is currently pursuing a Doctoral degree in Education from the University of Phoenix.
Christopher is a proud father of five children. His diverse experiences and unwavering dedication make him a passionate leader committed to fostering a positive learning environment and empowering students to reach their full potential.
Felipe Carmona-Woodard
Mr. Felipe Carmona-Woodard – Dean of Operations
Mr. Felipe Carmona-Woodard is a dedicated educational leader with a diverse background in academics, entrepreneurship, and community service. A proud graduate of Texas State College High School Program in Harlingen, Texas, Felipe has continually pursued excellence in both his personal and professional life.
He is the former owner and head coach of Army Cheer and Dance Academy in Harlingen, TX, as well as Royal Cheer and Dance in San Benito, TX, where he fostered a love for teamwork, discipline, and performance among young athletes. His entrepreneurial spirit is also reflected in his ownership of CarWood Learning Centers LLC, emphasizing his commitment to education and student success.
Felipe's professional journey includes experience as a retail sales manager for Macy’s and Tommy Bahama, showcasing his versatile leadership skills. He has also served as a special education teacher aide with Brazosport ISD and was a foster parent under Upbring Texas from 2016 to 2022, demonstrating his compassion and dedication to supporting children and families.
